Conservation Easements: What Professionals Need to Know

Succession planning professionals, including attorneys, accountants, financial advisors, and realtors, along with anyone interested in learning more about conservation easements, are invited to discuss local succession planning needs on November 19 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm in the Lovatt Room at the Pinedale Library. Explore how conservation easements intersect with these fields and how a stronger network of succession professionals can support agriculture conservation. This event is free and open to the public; you do not need to be a succession planning professional to attend.

This informational event will feature a panel discussion with Liz Long, Jackson Hole Land Trust Vice President and in-house counsel, Albert Sommers, local rancher, conservation easement owner, and former WY Speaker of the House, Mary Martin, University of Wyoming Community Development Extension Educator and succession planning specialist, Pete Dittmar, appraiser with Granite Creek Valuation, and Farrah Rhea, financial advisor with Edward Jones.
