WyoView is back with the theme of WILD.OPEN.CONNECTED. in honor of JHLT‘s 40th anniversary! Each year, WyoView (formerly View22) seeks to unite art and conservation to cultivate a deeper sense of place in Northwest Wyoming by raising awareness of the importance of open space protection for wildlife and the community. This year, ten selected artists were paired with JHLT-protected properties with the goal of representing the landscape and its unique conservation values through a series of three paintings.
This year’s WyoView also includes student photographs from JHLT’s Slide into R Park Program. Gear toward the Latinx youth of Jackson Hole, the program uses photography and place-based storytelling to develop skills, empower youth, and inspire a conservation ethic.
Support local artists and the Jackson Hole Land Trust by placing a bid at the WyoView online silent auction! Bidding will go live Monday, August 3. At least 30% of the proceeds of each piece will go to the JHLT to support conservation in Northwest Wyoming.
The WyoView silent auction is closed, but please feel free to inquire about any painting or photographs not yet marked as sold by contacting [email protected].
