The Jackson Hole Land Trust is excited to continue rolling out new ways to virtually connect you, our community, to open spaces and conservation. Here you’ll find resources to help your kids get to know the natural world.

Open Space Adventure: Water Quality

This week’s Open Space Adventure is all about water! Teach your kiddos about the waterways that connect our landscapes. Underneath its translucent, shiny surface water is transporting many materials, such as sand & rocks, as well as living things like fish species and stonefly larva. R Park has many rivers and ponds to explore, and this week you can grab a worksheet from the R Park porch that will guide you and your little ones through a water scavenger hunt that’s perfect for hot august days since you’ll be getting your feet a little wet. See what exciting discoveries lie beneath the water around R Park!
