Willow Lake Pasture
The property offers excellent conservation value in its inherent open space, wildlife habitat, and agricultural heritage. The open sagebrush steppe of the Property has historically supported the integrity of ranching operations in Sublette County and is part of the frame of view of the majestic Wind River Mountains from US Hwy 191. The unique glacial moraine topography offers cover and vegetative diversity to support a wide range of wildlife. The Property contains ephemeral pothole wetlands which are oases in the surrounding sagebrush sea. The location of the Property further provides resilience to wildlife by providing connectivity to both federal and State public lands and landscape permeability for seasonal migrations.
