The property borders Grand Teton National Park to the west and the Feuz Ranch JHLT-easement neighbors to the north. The Gun Barrel Flats Conservation Easement contains crucial habitat for moose, elk, and mule deer, contains significant mesic and aquatic habitats, and provides considerable scenic benefits to local residents and visitors. The property has historically been used for ranching purposes and its protection supports the ranching heritage of Northwest Wyoming.
