Rangeland Management

Ranching is a unique heritage that is losing ground in the United States. In Northwest Wyoming we are fortunate to have strong ties to historical and continued use of rangelands for producing livestock. 85% of Wyoming has been identified as rangeland and sustainable management is essential for viable ranching and for the wildlife that rely on the land. The JHLT looks to support the cultural heritage of ranching in Northwest Wyoming, as well as protect this valuable rangeland for wildlife. In doing so we have identified a number of partners that can assist you in managing rangelands and tailoring your grazing practices.  These include:
