Each year since 1980, we’ve held our annual Land Trust picnic out on a protected property to celebrate the wide open spaces in this valley that we, as a community have worked to protect. Always the 2nd Sunday in August.
The 38th Annual Picnic will take place on Sunday, August 12, 2018. The event will be held at the Walton Ranch, an iconic property in Jackson Hole protected by a JHLT conservation easement since 1985. This year, we are completely refreshing our traditional picnic and will feature a unique meal harvested from local farmers, with the help from Sweet Cheeks Meats and Cafe Genevieve. Our WyoView (formerly View22) exhibit will feature artwork from the WyoView Kids Camp, and we will have activities for all ages.
Based on feedback from the community about the size and scope of the Annual Picnic, we limited ticket sales for the first time in our 38 year history. We are grateful for the interest we received and have indeed sold out of tickets.
