After taking pictures of a doe grazing in the meadow, I turn onto a two track following a trotting antelope who deviated from the trail and left me behind. Curving on to my left, I arrived at this pond and set up my equipment to the chorus of birds. I painted serenely listening to the blurp…blub….bloop.. of fish breaking the surface of the water and occasionally witnessed the deep blue swells that followed a monster who did not. Swooshing in for a landing a rusty red Cinnamon Teal lazily sailed across the mirror image of the pool and lethargically disappeared behind some cattails: God’s Creation, Sounds of Nature, Doing what I love… What could be better?
