Wind River Program Director
Butch joined the Land Trust in 2016. Originally from Houston, Texas, Butch graduated from the University of Houston with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology after serving in the Marine Corps. In 1982, his passion for nature brought him to Fremont County and he became attached to the Wyoming landscape for life.
Butch has a diverse background in business ownership and management including ranching, aviation, veterinary medicine, construction, renewable energy, and real estate. Most recently Butch served as the Commercial Property Manager for State Lands and then as the Land Administration Supervisor for Wyoming Game and Fish. Butch holds an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, Flight Instructor Certificate, and is a licensed Real Estate Broker.
His greatest love is sharing his life with his wife, Sandy, and following the lives of his four children. Butch enjoys sports, hiking, biking, skiing, wildlife viewing, and exploring the world. Working for the Land Trust to conserve the wonders of the Greater Yellowstone is Butch’s dream job. Green River Valley Program Director
Mindi Crabb joined the JHLT team in October 2016 with the merger of the Green River Valley Land Trust.
Mindi served as the Executive Director of the Green River Valley Land Trust for three years, guiding the organization through a rebuilding effort and the transition to our Green River Valley Program. She has successfully rekindled relationships with the organization’s founders, donors, landowners and the community. Mindi has an extensive background and experience in small business consulting and non-profit management.
Mindi grew up in the tourism and hospitality industry in Alaska, with Denali National Park’s amazing scenery and abundant wildlife in her back yard. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Hotel & Restaurant Management from Oregon State University. Mindi is very active in Sublette County, volunteering for many community activities. She enjoys photography, horseback riding, fly fishing, biking, hiking, and cross-country skiing, all with her dog Cora.
