Projects

In 2001 the Jackson Hole Land Trust set out to raise $25.5 million to directly support land protection efforts in the valley. The Jackson Hole community rose to the challenge and made this success a reality. More than 600 individuals, foundations and businesses supported the Campaign for Our Valley, with commitments ranging from 25 cents up to $3.5 million. We are honored to have such a broad base of participation. Everyone's gifts and pledges, regardless of size, made a huge difference.

December 2008 marks the end of the campaign. To date, 7 high-priority projects were made possible from campaign funds, protecting more than 1,200 acres. These projects protected not only beautiful open vistas but also 444 acres of moose winter range, 3 bald eagle nests, 322 acres of crucial mule deer habitat, two and a half miles of the Snake River and one and a half miles of Spring Creek.
