Phase 2 of East Gros Ventre Butte Project Complete

Jackson Hole Land Trust is proud to announce that we have been able to protect an additional 62 acres on East Gros Ventre Butte as of March 2016. Coupled with the first phase of the project that protected 181 acres on the northeastern end of the butte, the completion of phase two of this project allows for the preservation of core area for greater sage grouse and other essential wildlife habitat on its eastern slope. East Gros Ventre Butte is a prominent landform located just north of the town of Jackson along U.S. Highway 26/89/191 and adjacent to the National Elk Refuge and Grand Teton National Park.
