In 2011, the Jackson Hole Land Trust partnered with Flitner Strategies for a community assessment focused on measuring awareness of our organization and our work in the community. The information stimulated the launch of our Forever Our Valley campaign, which strategically aimed to raise recognition and visibility for JHLT and educate the community about our conservation work.
Fast-forward to spring of 2016, when we wanted to measure the effectiveness of the Forever Our Valley campaign and to identify the priorities of the community and our work’s relevance to the community. What unfolds is the following assessment, which provides us with a better understanding of the next steps we at the Land Trust need to take in order to better communicate, educate, and engage with residents and visitors of Jackson.
