Peggy Gilday
First Vice President
Peggy Gilday moved to Jackson in 1995 with her family to enjoy life in a small, special community. She has two children, Chris and Alex. Previously, she lived in New York, where she worked for several architects after receiving her degree from The Cooper Union School of Architecture in 1984. She is now a principal architect at Gilday Architects, a firm that specializes in services for residential, affordable housing, commercial, and civic projects. When not working, Peggy enjoys tennis, skiing, and gardening. When asked about her undertaking as a Land Trust Board member, Peggy replied that she is honored and energized to be participating in the organization's work. She also commented, "As our world inevitably changes, our valuable open spaces remind us of the spirit of this place and must be maintained while still possible." |
