J.J. Healy is the founder of Healy Capital, a venture, real estate and investment company. JJ is a technology industry veteran with more than twenty years of operational, investment, and M&A experience with companies including EMC Corporation, CS First Boston and Yahoo! Inc.
Prior to founding Healy Capital, JJ was vice president of corporate development for Yahoo! Inc., where he teamed with founder Jerry Yang, to develop Yahoo’s acquisition and investment program. During his tenure at Yahoo!, J.J. led a team that completed over 20 corporate investments and 16 acquisitions, totaling more than $10 billion. At CS First Boston, he was a vice president in the technology investment banking group in San Francisco. An early employee at EMC, JJ led the international expansion in Asia and Europe.
JJ has had a long history of conservation work both in Wyoming and nationally. He was appointed by the Governor of Wyoming to be on the Select Committee for Split Estate Reform; he is Vice Chair of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation. JJ owns the Double J Ranch LLC, a cattle operation located in Daniel, WY, where he was on the Advisory Board of the Upper Green River Valley Land Trust.
J.J. received his BS in chemistry from Saint Anselm College, where he is an alumni member of the Board of Trustees. He received his MBA in International Finance from the American Graduate School of International Management-Thunderbird.
